Mobility (Erasmus)

Vitae Mobility Program: enriching international experiences to train global and empathetic professionals.

A training that moves with you.

Vitae International

We believe that student exchanges are essential experiences that prepare students to adapt to any context and become more skilled and empathetic professionals. That is why we are developing a student mobility program that aims to increase the number of students participating in international mobility programs over the next five years.

International Mobility

Vitae’s International Mobility Programs seek to offer opportunities to experience studying in Europe and beyond. In this way, our students are prepared to adapt to any context, learn new ways of doing things, and experience different cultures, all while valuing the ability to communicate in more than one language. A unique opportunity for life!

Internationalisation at Vitae Escola Universitària de l’Esport i la Salut

Vitae Escola Universitària de l’Esport i la Salut combines academic excellence with a strong international outlook. Internationalisation is a key component of the institution’s educational model and aims to prepare students to develop professionally in an increasingly global, diverse and interconnected environment.

This international dimension is implemented through mobility programmes for students, academic and administrative staff, international traineeships, cooperation projects with European institutions and internationalisation at home initiatives. Through these activities, Vitae promotes international academic and personal experiences that contribute to the development and education of its students.

Office of Global Affairs

The Office of Global Affairs (OGA) coordinates the internationalisation strategy of Vitae. The office manages international mobility programmes, partnerships with foreign institutions and international cooperation initiatives, providing guidance and support to students, academic staff and administrative staff throughout all stages of mobility.

  • On-site office hours: Wednesday: 08:30 – 14:00 and 15:00 – 17:00
  • Online assistance: Monday to Thursday: 11:00 – 13:00 and 14:30 – 17:00, Friday: 11:00 – 14:00

Vitae students undertake the trip with a learning or training agreement, which the International Relations Manager validates before the exchange. The agreement is typically drawn up for a semester or a year and is signed by both the host institution and the sending institution. Following the overseas experience, a transcript of records or internship report will be completed, designed to fully recognize the student’s accomplishments throughout that semester or year.

Normally, the workload, calculated on a credit system, is 50 for one year and 25 for one semester. A one-year program at Vitae is equivalent to 1,000 hours of training; a semester is equivalent to 500 hours of training. Credit points will be awarded upon successful completion of the course or internship.

Once students receive a transcript or internship report from the host institution, they can validate it at the home institution. This is done through the Credit System equivalency system or the hour equivalency system. Students will receive full recognition for completing their study program or internship abroad.

We fully recognize the internship abroad program or experience by awarding the total number of credit hours earned at the host institution. The mechanisms are based on the documents that you, as a student, will have to provide to the host institution and the home institution.

All outgoing Vitae students will receive English courses. Incoming students will have the opportunity to receive an intensive course of Catalan and Spanish during the school’s orientation weeks at the beginning of their Erasmus period.

After completing the intensive course, students will be encouraged to continue their Spanish and/or Catalan studies at their current level. Those who did not join the intensive course during the orientation week will also be able to join these classes. Classes are divided into groups by level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2). Additional support will be available for students who have language problems.

The language level test is based on the students’ own certificates or through the European Union’s Online Language Support (OLS) assessment test. This test shows the students’ level at the end of the process.
