Mobility periods typically last one semester or a full academic year (30\u201360 ECTS credits).<\/p><ul><li><strong>Traineeship Mobility<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Students may undertake a traineeship in a company, organisation or institution abroad.<br \/>Traineeships usually last between 2 and 12 months and are designed to provide practical experience aligned with the student\u2019s field of study.<\/p><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><h4>Mobility Process for Outgoing Students<\/h4><p>The mobility process for outgoing students is coordinated by the Office of Global Affairs and follows a structured and transparent procedure:<\/p><ol><li><strong>Information and Call for Applications<\/strong><br \/>The institution publishes calls for applications, including available destinations, partner institutions and eligibility criteria.<\/li><li><strong>Application and Selection<\/strong><br \/>Students submit their applications within the established deadlines. Selection is based on transparent and objective criteria.<\/li><li><strong>Nomination and Acceptance<\/strong><br \/>Selected students are nominated to the host institution and complete the required application<br \/>procedures of the receiving organisation.<\/li><li><strong>Learning Agreement Preparation<\/strong><br \/>Before the mobility period, students define their study programme or traineeship activities in a Learning Agreement, which must be approved by all parties.<\/li><li><strong>Mobility Period<\/strong><br \/>Students carry out their studies or traineeship abroad in accordance with the agreed programme.<\/li><li><strong>Completion and Recognition<\/strong><br \/>At the end of the mobility period, the activities completed abroad are documented and recognised in accordance with institutional and Erasmus+ requirements.<\/li><\/ol><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><h4>Mobility Process for Incoming Students<\/h4><p>Incoming students are nominated by their home institution and supported by the Office of Global Affairs throughout the mobility process.<\/p><p>The process generally includes the following steps:<\/p><ol><li><strong>Nomination by the Home Institution<\/strong><br \/>Partner institutions nominate selected students to Vitae Escola Universit\u00e0ria de l\u2019Esport i la Salut.<\/li><li><strong>Application and Acceptance<\/strong><br \/>Nominated students receive information on the application procedure and submit the required documentation. Upon acceptance, students receive confirmation and relevant practical information.<\/li><li><strong>Learning Agreement Preparation<\/strong><br \/>Students prepare their Learning Agreement in coordination with both institutions to define their study programme.<\/li><li><strong>Arrival and Integration<\/strong><br \/>Students receive guidance on arrival procedures, administrative steps and academic integration.<\/li><li><strong>Mobility Period<\/strong><br \/>Students attend courses or carry out traineeship activities in accordance with the agreed programme.<\/li><li><strong>Completion of Mobility<\/strong><br \/>At the end of the mobility period, the institution issues a Transcript of Records or Traineeship Certificate documenting the results achieved.<\/li><\/ol><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><h4>Academic Planning and Flexibility<\/h4><p>Mobility periods are designed to integrate fully into the student\u2019s academic pathway.<\/p><p>Depending on the programme:<\/p><ul><li>Study plans may be adapted in agreement with academic coordinators<\/li><li>Courses can be selected, replaced or complemented with elective components<\/li><li>Traineeships are incorporated into the academic structure and validated as part of the curriculum<\/li><\/ul><p>All academic activities are agreed in advance to ensure coherence with the student\u2019s degree programme.<\/p><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><h4>Selection Criteria<\/h4><p>Erasmus+ mobility opportunities are open to students who meet the academic and programme requirements established for each call.<\/p><p>The selection process is carried out transparently and takes different aspects into<br \/>consideration, including:<\/p><ul><li>academic performance,<\/li><li>completed ECTS credits and academic progress,<\/li><li>motivation and interest in the mobility experience,<\/li><li>language competence relevant to the destination or activity,<\/li><li>and the overall suitability of the mobility experience within the student\u2019s academic pathway.<\/li><\/ul><p>Depending on the type of mobility, shortlisted candidates may also be invited to participate in a short interview as part of the evaluation process.<\/p><p>Applications are assessed through an internal points-based evaluation system designed to<br \/>ensure fairness, transparency, equal opportunities and inclusive participation among candidates.<\/p><p>Vitae Escola Universit\u00e0ria de l\u2019Esport i la Salut encourages participation from students with fewer opportunities and aims to progressively support accessible and inclusive international mobility experiences in accordance with Erasmus+ principles.<\/p><p>Detailed information regarding eligibility requirements, application procedures, evaluation<br \/>criteria and mobility conditions will be provided within each Erasmus+ mobility call.<\/p><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><h4>Inclusion, Equal Opportunities and Blended Mobility<\/h4><p>Vitae Escola Universit\u00e0ria de l\u2019Esport i la Salut is committed to ensuring equal access to Erasmus+ mobility opportunities in line with the principles of non-discrimination, inclusion and transparency.<\/p><p>Mobility opportunities are open to all students, including those with fewer opportunities. The institution provides guidance and support throughout all stages of the mobility process to promote equitable participation.<\/p><p>In addition to physical mobility, students may also participate in blended mobility formats,<br \/>combining a shorter period abroad with a virtual component. However, incoming students receive guidance on available housing options in Barcelona.<\/p><p>The most common accommodation options for students include:<\/p><ul><li>Rooms in shared apartments (the most typical and affordable option)<\/li><li>Private student residences<\/li><li>Individual studios or apartments<\/li><\/ul><p>Due to the high demand for student housing in Barcelona, availability can be limited,<br \/>particularly before the start of the academic year. Students are strongly encouraged to begin their search several months in advance.<\/p><p>As a general indication, rental prices for rooms in shared apartments may range approximately between 400 and 750 EUR per month, depending on the location and conditions.<\/p><p>Students typically search for accommodation through online housing platforms, rental websites, or student networks.<\/p><p>Students are advised to exercise caution when searching for accommodation:<\/p><ul><li>Avoid making payments before signing a contract or verifying the property<\/li><li>Be cautious of offers that seem unusually low-priced<\/li><li>Whenever possible, visit the accommodation or use trusted platforms<\/li><\/ul><p><br \/>The Office of Global Affairs may provide further guidance to students after nomination.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h4>Visa and Administrative Procedures<\/h4><p>Students coming from countries requiring a visa are responsible for completing the necessary procedures.<\/p><p>The institution will provide supporting documentation (such as admission or nomination letters) to facilitate visa applications where required.<\/p><p>Students are advised to consult the relevant embassy or consulate for up-to-date information.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h4>Insurance<\/h4><p>Students participating in Erasmus+ mobility are responsible for ensuring that they have adequate insurance coverage for the entire duration of their stay.<\/p><p>Students are generally required to hold a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or equivalent health coverage. In addition, it is required that students obtain complementary insurance covering medical expenses, repatriation and travel.<\/p><p>Students undertaking traineeships will also be required to have liability and accident insurance, depending on the requirements of the host organisation.<\/p><p>Further information and guidance may be provided by the Office of Global Affairs prior to the start of the mobility period.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h4>Arrival and Support<\/h4><p>The Office of Global Affairs supports incoming students before and during their mobility period.<\/p><p>Guidance is provided on arrival, administrative procedures and academic integration.
